Mini chocolate eclairs

So they turned out fantastically! We went with a simple cream filling, with a touch of vanilla for flavour, then topped with a rich fudge chocolate icing! Yumo!
For something different flick back through our posts and try lemon butter, ooooh that would be tasty!

Want a recipe? If you can't find a Choux pastry recipe just let us know and we'll get this one up :)

Choux puffs

So far so good! It's down to fillings and of course taste now!! Very happy with how they look!!

Choux pastry

It's a lovely sunny day today, and with all wonderful days we must always endeavour to find some time to do something for ourselves. I especially like spoiling myself with yummy treat, cook two agrees. So in the spirit of spoiling ourselves and to try something new we decided to try Choux pastry puffs.
So many people constantly say how hard this is, and we have never tried sooooo in about 30mins when they are cooled and out of the oven we shall let you know how we went!
Has anyone made this before?

Fish ' n ' Chips

Everywhere we go...we tend to have Fish ' N ' Chips. It's just something we love, it's always quick, easy AND you can eat it on the beach and throw the leftovers to the seagulls :) wonderful!

So, surprise surprise, when I came across a seafood hut on the shore of Lake Wakatipu well I just had to try!

MMmmmm nom nom nom best battered fish I've had in ages! Seriously good, the fish was crispy on the outside and soft inside. It literally melted in the mouth, and the best bit was I didn't need to drown the fish in tarter sauce for it to taste good. Which...I honestly do maybe a little too often.

So to all you food lovers, if you're heading to Queenstown New Zealand any time soon head on down to the lake front where you will find a cute little seafood hut.

Taste Experience

Some of you may have heard of Ferg Burger? Well they have the reputation of the WORLDS BEST BURGER and....well....it was pretty great! A definite recommendation to anyone visiting Queenstown. Just a warning though, don't go at lunch time starving, the lines are long and the wait can be even longer. But all in all the wait is totally worth it! OH and try some onion rings :) YUMMO!

Back in action!

Well its been a little while but we are back!
After some holiday adventures we have a few things in stall ! Has anyone been to New Zealand?
We had a brief stint in Queenstown, and I tell you what? It was one of the most beautiful natural places I think I've ever seen. Cook 2 unfortunately didn't come along, so I'm going to share with you some of the delightful things I got to indulge in over the next few days :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break and if your still on holidays make the most of every moment!!
